First time I've ever eaten anything from Gregg's and it was very cheap but very bland. Considering the prices though, I can see why it's so popular but it ain't my cup of tea.
You got to love a Gregg's. I think in Braintree this is probably the only real bakers left as far as I know? I might be wrong. But if you want pastry and a coffee or cake, that's quick and fair priced then I think this is your best bet. There are enough tables and chairs to sit in if you need to and it's not normally too busy apart from some lunch times. Staff have always been friendly and food fresh so all good from here.
