The Green Man is a lovely pub with friendly staff, but unfortunately, some of the meals weren't as good as they should have been. Although they catered for vegans with a soya allergy, and the three sausages were tasty, for £16+ we would have thought that fresh vegetables would be served, rather than soggy, frozen green beans and broccoli. Also, we couldn't have a coffee after our meal because the coffee maker had ceased to work, and we weren't offered even a cup of instant coffee.
Had dinner on christmas day, a party of 20, amazing service and lovely food. Staff very courteous and attentive - nothing was too much trouble - even though we were a large party. Good food portions and great atmosphere Thank you everyone ?

Fine lunch for 5 people today at the Green Man in Herongate. The pork belly was particularly good. Generous portions compared to some places.The pub was full but the service was competent and helpful.Parking: No dedicated car park so need to park in nearby lanes.
