Harbour Square, Waterside Marina, Brightlingsea, ColchesterA lovely, spacious room to eat and drink in, and comfy outdoor seating. The food was really good, fresh, and they handled our picky eaters really well and accommodated the changes they needed.
The staff were lovely. Would definitely go back.

Victoria Cafe
22 Victoria Pl, Brightlingsea, ColchesterKids were hungry so we opted for a meal at Victoria Cafe, good sign that it seemed pretty busy / popular. Although before we went in, we noticed a cash only sign so initially had to divert off to get some cash out (post office next door was handy for this). One we had some money we went in and given a table straight away. Drinks ordered and then eventually food as well. It was fairly loud in the cafe, but not to the extent you couldn't hear those directly around you.
We had smoothies and milkshakes for the drinks (we did have to chase one of them up.. but got it as soon as we did.) All of which were very nice. When food came, the portion sizes were very good and there were no complaints with how much food we all had! Some of it even went in a take away box as a snack for later...!
I thought the prices were reasonable for what we got. Would not hesitate coming here again for food if in Brightlingsea!

Caféchic Coffee House
49 Victoria Pl, Brightlingsea, ColchesterWe popped in here yesterday with our dog. We were made to feel welcome, they even asked if Jack would like a bowl of water. The atmosphere was jolly to regulars and strangers alike. The Halloumi and mushroom burger and bacon sandwich were perfect. Will definitely pop in again when we are travelling that way.

Brook Park, London Road, Clacton-on-SeaWe came last night after a long day the kids chose subway to eat, and we had a geat experience, food was fresh and tasty, staff were friendly, kind and helpful, which resulted in happy kids and happy tums! Thank you guys, u were great!
