Visited the Swallowtail for Sunday lunch. At first glance you might think the menu was basic pub grub but it was fabulously delicious. We tried 2 of the sharing platters, chicken and fish and we ate almost every last crumb. Staff very friendly and service swift and attentive. Prices very reasonable too. Would definitely return and can recommend.
Had lunch at the Swallowtail with my partner and elderly mother. The view from the restaurant was lovely, looking out onto the yacht club and river Crouch. The staff were very friendly and extremely efficient. The food was fabulous. We had great starters and plumped for the sharing platters between the 3 of us (fisherman's platter and mixed chicken platter) the food was hot, fresh and very tasty. We went for valentine's day dinner and the food was delicious. Lots of effort had gone into the decor and it was a warm welcome. Price was very reasonable and it is easy to get to with loads of parking. We will be going back soon.
