The Queens Head
26 Providence, Burnham-on-CrouchA really nice friendly pub. I popped in with my wife and children. Four types of real ale on offer, so big thumbs up. Some nice Murphy’s stout as well. The owner was great to chat to. I loved the feel of the pub, very comfortable and even has a pool table in good condition.
Toilets are clean with fabulous artwork.

The Victoria Inn
Belvedere Rd, Burnham-on-CrouchLorna kindly hosted our first business meeting this morning. The venue was spotless. Lorna was a warm & relaxed host. Everything was laid out well, with a lovely choice of refreshments & catering. I’d highly recommend, and will be back for both business & pleasure soon!!

52 High St, Burnham-on-CrouchThe staff absolutely smashed it last night. I’m gluten free but really wanted the spaghetti vongale so they kindly cooked some gluten free spaghetti for me. It was amazing!!! Then to top it off the pudding selection was not brilliant for me but the manager went and found me two other off menu options. So very kind and I chose the lemon posset which was delicious. The staff all went over and above and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to you all

Eastend, RochfordWonderful! After completing the number 6 of 25 best walks in the UK in Pagglesham, where the start and end locations were the pub, my family and I booked a table for a late lunch.
The food was simply incredible, generous portions, a varied but not too big a menu, everything cooked fresh on the premises, even the kids meals you could get larger sizes for if you had a slightly older child who would struggle to choose adult flavours from the main menu. Service was responsive. Prices reasonable. The pub must be hundreds of years old, full of quaint charm oozing character, the kinda place an American visitor would never wish to leave.
Very very very very impressed.

This place absolutely made my day and I can wait to return.

Parlour Cafe
Creeksea Place Farm, Ferry Rd, Burnham-on-CrouchVisited Parlour a few times over the recent years. Nice spot and layout. Busy Sunday morning, bacon sandwich was good, nice big pieces but a little salty today. Service a bit slow on food, but as I wrote it was quite busy. Nice coffee but could have been a bit bigger. Quite noisy inside, but plenty of room outside.

43 High St, Burnham-on-CrouchVisited with my wife whilst on a classic car day hire. Easy to find near the Burnham clocktower with free parking available.
An early weekday afternoon visit, there were some customers awaiting orders and we were served immediately. Easy to read backlit menu had a dizzying array of choice available.
We opted for 4C od bites & Chips twice, with a can of drink each. The fish itself was beautiful, cooked perfectly with a decent crunch to the batter. The chips were also very good and a decent portion size for the meal deal cost. We certainly were full up were not left wanting.
We walked to the pontoon located behind the High Street and enjoyed our meal in the sun. A very good meal, would recommend.

From the moment we sat down, the service was as smooth as a perfectly executed cabin announcement, friendly, attentive, and just the right side of chatty. We started with poppadoms and the full line up of garnishes, all beautifully fresh and full of flavour. For my main, I went for the chicken dansak with plain rice and naan a dish so delicious it could easily tempt me to upgrade from economy any day. The flavours were perfectly balanced: rich, tangy, and utterly satisfying. My friends visiting from France were equally impressed, which says a lot, they’re not easily wowed! The waitress was an absolute delight, making the evening feel warm and relaxed without a hint of fussiness. One of the best Indian meals I’ve had in years, I’ll definitely be checking in again for another “in-flight” curry soon.

Foundry Lane, Foundry Ln, Burnham-on-CrouchCame here last week and wow what a place. Beautiful food, beautiful views and the girls go above and beyond! This was not our first since the new managers and wow the place has totally been turned around! If you haven’t visited this hidden gem you definitely should!

Domino's Pizza -Burnham on Crouch
158 Station Road, Burnham-on-CrouchJust had my faith in human nature renewed.
I called the manager in Branch tonight about a small mix up a week ago. And was told immediately that my entire last order will be replaced. Awesome !!!
Within 25 minutes I believe was the manager at my door with possibly the best pizza I’ve ever had. It was perfect.
The manager is a genuine and professional man also very friendly.
