Great seasonal menu so worth popping in throughout the year! From the varied starters I chose the spicy prawns on bruchetta, which I'll definitely have again! For main I went the specials board route. Although there were many items on the main menu, from pub staples to fine dining (steaks, fish, pies etc) I chose the chicken & chorizo tagliatelle which featured black & green olives. I took my mum here for Mother's Day for a meal and had a great time. It's a decent pub in the village and was understanadably pretty busy. It could do with some modernisation inside, but it was clean and warm. The food was pretty good, very traditional Sunday roast the kind your mum will love, but I've had many better ones with much more flavour. The two course menu on the day was good value, and the service was super friendly (I think their names were Toby & Chelsea).

Had an absolutely wonderful lunch here today. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and warned that as we hadn’t booked and they had two large parties arriving, we may have to wait 1/2 an hour.We were seated and served drinks.Only waited a little over 10 minutes and were served by a wonderful young man named Toby.Our delicious starters arrived swiftly, but we had a slight delay in the main course arriving, but as I mentioned, we had been warned.
