If you’re vegan, ask for a vegetable Thai curry. They have nothing specifically vegan on the menu but they whipped this up for me and it was immense! Honestly one of the best Thai curries I’ve ever had. The staff were lovely and accommodating and the atmosphere was perfect. What a lovely lunch. ?
The food is always good at the Shepherd & Dog, on this occasion we ate from the specials menu - ribeye steak and wild seabass with boulangere potatoes. Both dishes were lovely. Always a good choice of real ales too. A proper country pub.

Lovely country pub. Great quality food. We had the Sunday roast and it was delicious. Excellent service too. Would definitely recommend a visit.Wheelchair accessibility: We managed to easily get a large electric wheelchair into the pub and to our table. Didn't try the toilets so can't comment.
