Incredible experience in a place of total calm and tranquility.A place to breathe and refresh ones weary souls in the heart of Constables country!Our hosts Wendy and Jim are the most hard working yet relaxed people you could ever meet.They make you feel welcome to their home,I wouldn't even refer to it as a hotel,it's so lovely just to be there.The breakfast is tailor made to your expectations and the freshest of ingredients used.I'm Gluten intolerant and Wendy catered and adapted...read full review
An excellent hotel for our short break. A rambling building with some history, most importantly very good value with a “home cooked” dinner menu and an ample if modest bar. Only proviso, if you are over 6' you need to take care! Some of those C15th doorways appear to shrink whilst you are there. A very good area for a break. Next question - will I do an art course? we shall see.

Can't speak highly enough of the place and the hosts. Jim and Wendy made our celebration trip with friends extra special and nothing was to much trouble. We will be back to enjoy the hospitality again.
