Not great I'm afraid. Having been brought up on Indian food due to my family heritage, I would like to think I know if someone has good spice and taste.The positives - The bread was good, the paratha and naan was soft and tasty. The starter tandoori chicken was ok.Unfortunately the negatives are on the main courses the 2 chicken dhansak tasted plain and bland, not how a dhansak should taste, it should be an explosion of lentils and spice. We’ve had two takeaways from Indian Village now and both times have been pleased with the food, service and pricing. The naans are really good and fresh, no cardboard naans here.We’ve tried ordering in the shop and over the phone and both are straightforward and as expected.We tried the lamb tikka Naga, paneer tikka, paneer jalfrezi, chicken pasanda and their onion bhaji which are lovely.Their menu suggests 99% of people return, and I’m sure we will!

Not sure if they have a dine-in option, I would love to visit if there is one. Have been ordering dinner menu for a while now and I would say, this is the best place I have ever tried so far. Love the spiciness and authenticity of the food which reminds me of home. P.S. chicken madrasi biryani is worth trying.
