The Green Man at Lindsell
Mill End Green, DunmowAbsolutely superb. We had dinner at The Green Man in July and hired their marquee for my 40th in August.
On both occasions the team, food and environment were brilliant.
It’s clear the teams all know their stuff and have a strong skills in running events and creating delicious food. We really didn’t have to do anything other than turn up and enjoy ourselves - perfect!
So many of our guests have commented how good the venue, food and team were.
Thank you for all your hard work guys and gals - we’ll be back soon!

The Star Brasserie
Mill End, Thaxted, DunmowWow. What a fantastic night we had at the singing competition yesterday evening, expertly run by Layla. Such a warm and friendly atmosphere and a lovely community spirit throughout. The staff worked so hard and gave great service to the packed pub run by Lisa and Mick. We sampled the hawaiian pizza and cheesy chips, which were very nice indeed. Well worth the trip from Cromer to this beautiful village in the heart of the Essex countryside. Annie and I are really looking forward to returning to The Star in the near future. It appears that the owners' idea of turning this former restaurant into a family pub has really paid off. Well done.

Lion & Lamb
Stortford Rd, Little Canfield, DunmowFood was outstanding. We shared the sharing platter for two. Beef was 10/10 … the Turkey was a bit dry, but when is it not? Service was brilliant. Everyone was very attentive. Shame to have no room for pudding. Not much room in the drinking side of the pub so take a coat you might have to sit outside.
