Lovely rural pub with 4 delightful dogs hellbent on tickles and wandering around. Great food and also a good choice of drinks (and, which is now highly relevant for me, of alcohol-free ones). Warm welcome too - we'll be back!

Great place, good food, prices reasonable.We visited with 12 people in our party for niece's 18th breakfastand the staff were fantastic, polite and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. With a big order all food was served altogether at the same time ?Special shout out to "Annie" ...wonderful service, a credit to Ashfields .

Lovely country pub, mistake on our behalf as we ate to late but the game pie I had was superb and proper pie.No Guinness but the Murphy’s was ok. Will be going back if In area.
