Got my regular pie and mash today, yummy as usual. Ordered by phone and ready when I arrived - great service. All the seats were taken with friendly customers. Didn't realize that fruit pies were on offer too - they'll be added next time. Highly recommended !!!!

I know the owner who is a great bloke. Casa is conveniently situation on Dunmow high street and has gone through a nice rebrand. I enjoyed my coffee there recently at a business meeting and will definitely return again when in the area.

Perfect bar with amazing staff, atmosphere, wines and food. The organic wines and orange wines are great and something you won’t find anywhere else. More than just wines, beers and cocktails are amazing too

The Chameleon Cafe

Fantastic atmosphere even with the rain was trying to spoil it. The children were painting with the help of mum and grandparents. Coffee and cake ?. Staff were quick to serve and very polite. There was no rush to get out.Thank you for enjoyable morning.

This is my local Indian and to be honest we always have a good meal here but tonight it was exceptional. Everything was so tasty and as always it was well presented. The staff are also brilliant, so attentive and look after you in every way including suggestions such as offering to adapt dishes to your taste. So if you’re looking for a super tasty Indian with fantastic staff then this is the place for you.

Just had the Sunday carvery with my elderly mum on a visit. Staff helpful and welcoming including the chef who was present at the carvery.The roast was really delicious and very generous helpings making it great value for the cost. Really a lovely experience. Even the locals helped me to escort mum put side.I will back on our next visit.Thank you to alll staff

When i visit alone, I'm treated as new customer, which is good but its nice to be recognised as a returning customerThe service is good and attentive.The food is consistently good, fresh and well made. Very warm interior design felt so cosy and comfortable, was in there a long time and was never rushed or bothered, was going in for just a drink,but while I was watching all the delicious food go past me I had to order something, went for an omelette and it was delicious,,would throughly recommend this cafe ,like stepping back in time ,amazing little place for lunch a spot of food ?

Very nice pub. It’s cash only at the moment. The atmosphere is so cosy and there are a lot of nice decorations. There are toilets available and also a snooker table. There are some very comfy seats. It’s a lovely place for a drink.

If you have the hangover munchies or just have a big appetite and want a roast dinner this is the one... mexa mix... LOTS OF FOOD and yummy.My friend couldn't finish it looked perfect to even share. Food is nice but the pizza looked disappointing but the mussels are delicious.Waitress was absolutely lovely.Beer garden is great too.

The Fruit Bowl

Very impressed. I came for a steak dinner with my partner which was absolutely delicious. We both had the sirloin and it was the best one we’ve ever had. The service from the staff was fantastic and intimate. The restaurant as a whole had such a warming atmosphere and it was an overall positive, cozy experience. We will definitely be coming back and recommending to all our friends and family.

Absolutely love this sweet shop, it has so much character and charm and its a real asset to the high-street. My kids eyes literally light up when they walk in, for them its not just a sweet shop its an experience. The staff are always extremely helpful and friendly and you can see how hard they all work to bring joy and magic to their customers.

DUNMOW FLAMES

Good food, good service. Nice to actually get lamb shish which isnt covered in fatty bits. Im greek and fussy with kebabs but this place never lets me down. If you want kebabs or even pizzas, chicken burgers......flames is the place to go!!!

The Boars Head, Dunmow.

Geraldine and Patrick have been wonderful to my partner and I. We approached them looking for a quaint, traditional pub for our wedding reception and I cannot be more grateful for how we were treated and our experience with them. The decorations were wonderful, the buffet had been displayed beautifully, and the staff were amazing. Absolutely recommend their services for hire/events, and even just for a quick pint when passing by! So lucky to have a local pub, with wonderful and kind regulars in our town. Thank you all again and looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Occasionally we have a fish and chip supper from Edwards. The fish is always delicious and along with the chips, cooked fresh. The delivery service is an added bonus.

Great Dunmow Chinese Takeaway

We had Chinese takeaway from here a couple of weeks ago and then fish n chips yesterday. Both excellent but definitely the best fish n chips in the area - chips were good and the haddock had great flavour with no wet or flaky batter. Curry sauce is thick and smooth which went just as good with the complimentary prawn crackers!

I dont like overpriced takeaway pizza, but went here for my son. I was surprised how hard they all work and particularly the young lady who was answering the phone. Great customer service ?
