Had Sunday lunch - expected better given reviews here. The food was served lukewarm - overall a somewhat average meal with little flair, seasoning or taste. On the plus side, service was welcoming, and prices fair.

Visited 27/4/25 - breaking my 100km ride for the mandatory coffee and cake. Sun shining; walked past quiet cottages with church bells ringing. To the mill. Tables dotted around on the mill's lawn. Friendly service. Good coffee, lovely sausage roll. In the sun. Perfect. This is run from a converted horse box with jerry cans and a generator. It's all about the setting. Don't expect a starbucks board of coffee options. Be warned, it is weather dependant and there is nowhere to pee!
