Geraldine and Patrick have been wonderful to my partner and I. We approached them looking for a quaint, traditional pub for our wedding reception and I cannot be more grateful for how we were treated and our experience with them. The decorations were wonderful, the buffet had been displayed beautifully, and the staff were amazing. Tom and Geraldine went above and beyond for the wake of my husband.The organisation, food and service was exceptional.They made it a very personal occasion for all his friends and family and nothing was too much trouble for them. It's a pub I first drank in almost 40 years ago & the fact I choose to drink there whenever I happen to be in Dunmow tells you all you need to know. Good atmosphere, good beer.
