Good home cooked pub food at bargain prices .Polite cheerful staff ( the lunchtime barmaid resembles Singer ,Amy Winehouse )A nice bright conservatory to chillOut in on Outrageously comfy leather sofas (I nodded off whilst waiting for my nose-bag.)Nice big garden with lots to do for children & young teens .( Basketball net etc)Cash machine here.Saloon bar or Public bar both are Old English style with wood beams fire place etc.Quaint .

I love a pub with an open fire or wood burner, but they should always be coupled with a thermometer on the wall. And if it reads over 30C then I would suggest that no more logs are necessary! It was was very, very hot in there. But a nice vibe pub in Great Leighs.
