Lisa and Dave are so inviting that you could easily bask in their cosy, warm and friendly surroundings all day long. They truly create a very special place, somewhere that stays in your mind and sticks to your heart. Their food is fantastic. Friendly, quirky, fabulous cakes and light lunches. Best little care/tea shop in Essex! The decor is retro, with delightfully mis-matched 60' and 70's cups and saucers. Classy backgrouns music from an original "Dansette" record player. Love it!

What a find, we loved our visit to The Loft!Friendly, family-run business serving hot/cold drinks and light bites. I had a New Yorker bagel, and my wife had a cream cheese and chutney bagel with two hot drinks for £17. The food was great, the coffee was lovely and all at a reasonable price.Outdoor and indoor seating are available, and it's dog-friendly.
