Bread And Bites
18 High Rd, North Weald Bassett, EppingWe just popped into Bread and Bites for some lunch and will definitely be returning. The couple that greeted us which I think were the owners were so welcoming and lovely. They recommended the chicken wrap which I had and was delicious. I think they must make their own wraps as it tastes so fresh. My husband got the tuna melt which was great too and he picked up a couple of the lamb samosas which were very yummy. Another plus is that it’s dog friendly. We will 100% be going back to try their coffee and fish finger bap too!

North Weald Airfield, Merlin Way, North Weald Bassett, EppingFirst time coming to the café and I’ll definitely be back! Paige provided absolutely fantastic 5-star service from the moment we walked through the door, warmly welcoming us and looking after us all the way through our experience. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel comfortable straight away. The service was quick, food, drinks, and cakes were all lovely too, and the atmosphere on the airfield is an experience like no other. Great service like that really makes the visit special. Would definitely recommend!

Despite the restaurant being extremely busy with only two staff members on the floor, she never missed a beat; attentive, friendly, and genuinely engaging throughout. We never felt like we were waiting, which is a testament to her professionalism and energy.
A big compliment to Chef Jano as well, the food arrived promptly and was cooked to absolute perfection. Every dish was spot on. We was a party of 5.
We’ve visited multiple times, and it’s consistently faultless thanks to the incredible team. This is exactly how hospitality should be done. Highly recommended; an easy 10/10 and a true 5-star experience
