Haven't been to this lovely old pub for a while and I was very pleasantly surprised at just how good it is now. Fabulous greeting from friendly and helpful staff, and they do terrific coffee. There's a lot of choice to eat, including specials. We went on "fish Friday" which is clearly popular as all the tables were taken by the time we left. Dog-friendly too. Lovely cosy traditional pub. Brilliant food and great service and atmosphere.Manager very attentive to ensure we had a great evening with our friends. We booked a bar area table (limited) by the open fire.Would highly recommend and return soon.Ps dog friendly too.Parking: We used a taxi, but plenty of free parking available.
