Popped in with my mum and sister as we were visiting our mum in nearby care home and gotta say what a great place the food was fantastic the chicken wings were amazing and the curry was aswell the bar lady was so helpful and friendly couldn't do enough for us it's great to keep these classic pubs going great place ?
Only had jacket potatoes but they were lovely & came with a side salad. Older man was very welcoming bit our server wasn't as friendly. It was quite empty so can't comment on atmosphere. Would visit again.

We were in the area for a couple of nights before heading back to Australia and made a booking at the Hotel. Lovely meal and great atmosphere, we had a lovely girl who served us and was very attentive to our visit. Speaking with the Landlady at the conclusion she informed us both her girls were leaving that day so will be sadly missed. A must visit for anyone looking for a traditional UK pub meal.
