16 Highbridge St, Waltham AbbeyHad a lovely meal at Shuhag a few evenings ago. Was just walking around and was greeted by Naim, the owner, who began chatting with me and asking about my background. I was entranced by Naim’s storytelling about the history of the restaurant and his family’s personal connections and passion for traditional Indian cooking. It has been many years since I’ve met someone with the tenacity and voraciousness that Naim possesses, and his energy was magnetic. While the story was heartwarming, it was the food that sealed the deal for me. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of spice for my palette. I enjoyed every bite, as well as the tea and dessert following my meal. The ambience of the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff, and the delicious food transformed this serendipitous experience into an experience I know I will be repeating time and time again. 10/10 Shuhag, and 10/10 Naim!

Crepe and Shake
28 Sun St, Waltham AbbeyAbsolutely delicious food, we had one savory crepe egg, ham and cheese to share, followed by one sweet - fresh fruit and white chocolate. They also have beer and wine, what else can you want.

Me and my wife pretty much order from here every Saturday and I used to come here a lot with mum and sit inside the shop and my auntie and uncle are visiting in a couple of weeks from Canvey Island and they have never tried it and I’m going to bring them here with other family as well

We visited for the first time today after a number of recommendations and this place did not disappoint! The service was absolutely spot on, the girls serving us were just so lovely and the food was AMAZING!! Such value for money. Definitely the best vegan burger ive ever had!
We will definitely be returning now we've found this hidden ?

It took me a while to try to decide what to eat from the extensive menu and was pleasantly surprised by our server, Hayley’s knowledgeable guidance and willingness to help me make a selection. Huge Yorkshire pudding and plenty of veg, served hot and in a timely manner.\nGreat atmosphere and staff so friendly and helpful. Definitely will come again.

1 Arlingham Mews, Sun St, Waltham AbbeyMy family and I have been visiting le spice for many years now. \nWe have had the Sunday buffet, as well as many evening meals there, we visited most recently on bank holiday Monday and once again we received a faultless service with friendly staff and the food was perfect as it always is. \nThe drinks were ice cold and plentiful. \nAs a local resident Le Spice is our first choice for a good meal out, I can honestly say that we have never had a bad experience or been disappointed. A couple of the children are picky eaters whereas as my husband orders a different dish every-time and yet the food is always perfect. Nothing is too much for the chef or staff members. \n5* service all the way.

The Black Swan Nazeing
Common Rd, Roydon, Waltham AbbeyOnly popped in to meet up with some friends. Sat outside and admired the beautiful flowers and hanging baskets.
Cosy restaurant was serving Sunday roast which looked amazing shall definitely be giving the food a try.

48 Sun St, Waltham AbbeyMy favourite pub in Waltham Abbey, love the atmosphere, I always go to the right side where it's quiet, on the left side you have your typical sports pub with local blokes watching sports, but right side is half empty whenever I go. Never ordered food so I can't put any stars there, but the rest is right up my street. There's something about it that just appeals to me.

Crooked Mile, Waltham AbbeyA nice children friendly pub on the edge of Waltham Abbey. There is a car park to the side. A large beer garden with decking welcomes customers who want to sit outside. The inside is clean and tidy with various areas to sit. If you like pool you're in luck as there is a table near the entrance. Food is offered here but I only popped in for a drink.

Fresh juicy tasty chips every time with very good portion sizes even in this COL crisis prices may have gone up on a few items but the quality has always been high. Customer service second to none being able to order online and delivery really fast with the food delivered hot & warm always.
One time there was a festival in the area so they were extremely busy order seem to take longer than usual. Called them up just to double check and they assured me my order was just on its way. And in 5mins I got my order.
Highly recommend Starfish with their shop being very clean nice and friendly with great staff :-)

40 Highbridge St, Waltham AbbeyThe food was nice and fresh, but….not enough taste. I have been to White Chapel a few time, and the food was different. I could feel more taste. This one feel like they haven’t put enough spices. But it’s okey when you’re hungry. I have some friends from Bangladesh and when they cook the food is tasty. From this restaurant it’s just not enough taste. This is the only issue I have. Still recommended.
Vegetarian options: Not bad food but not enough taste. I don’t know why. I have a few friends from Bangladesh and when they cook it’s just different. It’s more taste.
