The Woolpack Inn
7 Church St, WithamThe Woolpack Inn is a proper traditional two roomed pub. There is a wide range of beers including three hand pulled cask conditioned real ales. The ones I tried were in excellent condition. It is a cosy friendly pub the staff are very welcoming. It's not a food pub, just pub to meet up and have a great beer. A visit is highly recommended.

Met friends for lunch today to have a catch up. Two of us had the Jamacian stew with sourdough bread which was absolutely delicious!

Popped in for a 60's + meal this afternoon. Very tasty liver & bacon, mash, onion gravy with peas, also apple crumble/custard. All very tasty, great value. Staff were friendly as they always are.

The White Horse
2 Church St, Chipping Hill, WithamThe White Horse is a nice village pub. There is a good range of beers, lager and cider. I haven't tried the food, so I can't comment, but the menu looked very inviting. At one end of the pub is a pool table and a dart board. Outside, there is a sheltered seating area and a car park.

149 Newland St, WithamCollection - always quick to make and unlike many Asian restaurants in the area this is not greasy or over salty. Authentic food that’s full of flavour and use ls a lot of fresh veg. Massaman curry and spicy seafood stir fry stand outs.

8 Laburnum Way, WithamBest Indian in witham. Couldn't ask for better from the food that looked and tasted fantastic, to the best delivery driver. Not sure which driver we got but he went the extra mile to put down a step so you can just help yourself out of the box, very polite and friendly.

36 Newland St, WithamMe and my friend had a roast and pud on Sunday 23rd feb 25 amazing dinner, so yummy we are coming back for more, staff amazing and helpful, I’m a small eater so had a doggy bag for Mondays dinner, bubble and squeak, I would highly recommend it.

52-54 Newland Street, WithamThis is a very busy handy location, Gregg's. It's always super busy, so expect a short wait. The staff are always polite and friendly and a credit to the brand. Food is always cooked perfectly and very well presented.
There's a seating area with ample seating. Wheelchair accessible doors and areas are great and perfect for young mums and prams, too.

A12 Southbound, End, Withamthe staff are always friendly and polite and it's usually not too busy so you get served quick. the restaurant is always clean and tidy and there is ample seating inside and a couple of tables outside too for days when the weather is nice. there's a good sized carpark that's shared with the gregg's next door so you don't have to walk and pricing is on par with other starbucks restaurants of the same type.overall a very pleasant experience.the only thing of note when visiting this restaurant is that the slip road back onto the a12 is very short so you can't really get any speed up to join with traffic. this is mostly only an issue during rush hour as this section of the a12 can get very busy but it's something to keep in mind.

1 Guithavon St, WithamI have amended my previous review after we had a bad experience a few months back. This was responded to by a new owner and I had noted that they have commented on a lot of the reviews, acknowledging previous issues.
We thought we would give it another go given the new ownership, and we are really glad that we did. Everything is massively improved and it was clear that a lot of thought and effort had been put in. Firstly our food was delivered really quickly and was hot. Next was that portion sizes were noticeably much bigger and what you’d expect. Finally, and most importantly, the food was really tasty.
Anyone that has had a previously bad experience I would encourage to give this place another go with the new owners! We will certainly be back
