We popped in as we were buying a car around the corner and waiting for it to be sorted. We got talking to the owner, he was an friendly down to earth guy. I just want to say thank you for the drinks, we are so grateful for your kindness.

80 Church Rd, Tiptree, ColchesterI've been in the tiptree area for almost two years. We've always gone to the maypole and well... Despite it being a bit average we never tried anywhere else until recently. Oh my word. I can't speak highly enough of the experience. I will never go to the maypole again. I thought it was average. It's bottom of the pile compared to gardenia. The chicken balls were just... Amazing! Even the sweet and sour sauce... I mean... It's just sweet and sour source... How can it possibly taste that good? The lemon chicken was to die for. Everything we had, chow mein, dumplings, rice was top 3 if not the best we have ever had. Bloody brilliant!

5-6 The Centre, Tiptree, ColchesterGreat place to eat and very friendly staff.Kid-friendliness: I took my 2 year old daughter in and they was very kind to her and gave her a lolli pop after her food.Parking: Multi shop parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is very easy to get through for anyone.Dietary restrictions: Just tell the staff.

Factory Hill, TiptreeWent to visit the museum here. It's a fun and quirky little place. Lots of information in this single room museum. Reasonable shop too. Fun if you happen to be in the area

Maypole Rd, Tiptree, ColchesterGenerally a good all round experience. Plenty of pumps and easy to get in and out of the site. A well stocked shop with hot snacks and drinks to go. It also benefits from a Cashpoint and Amazon lockers (which you can have your Amazon parcel delivered to for easy collection). Staff are friendly and competent.
