My wife's birthday celebrations with the family.Excellent meal for 9 people. Great food and service. Fantastic rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce giant mushroom and slow cooked tomato. Drinks Great value too. super friendly
We visited the Red Lion last Friday having booked in advance. The atmosphere was fab, very friendly staff and fellow customers, it had a real community feel. There were three in our party, two had fish and chips and I had the pork belly which was beautiful, however I have to mention my dismay at the quantity of food on the plate, with about a table spoon and a half of mash, so I couldn’t really get a good taste of the garlic and spring onion mash served with the dish and for...read full review

An excellent pub with great food, service and atmosphere. I had a beef club sandwich which was one of the best I’ve had, and my wife had a fishfinger sandwich which was the best home-made fishfingers she has ever tasted. Highly recommend eating here.
