Drawn in by some outstanding social media posts, I wanted to see if the jovial behaviour between staff members was all for show or if this frivolity, prank filled madness is just how it is here. I'm very pleased to report that it's the latter.
Being on a weekend away from Glasgow, seeing a real dartboard again is a rare treat - we're not allowed them anymore because, well, Glasgow. I'm still terrible, but its nice to fling a few arrows in the company of a well behaved springer spaniel munching away on a steak pie. Dog friendly pubs are the best.
Speaking of food, the katsu loaded fries are outstanding, as was the fish- just the right level of spice in the katsu for my oversized IBS riddled gut. I regretted throwing a sherry trifle cheesecake on top of them, not because it wasn't great, it was fantastic, I'm just not built for dairy, know what I mean? I'm glad it was a hotel bathroom and not my own the next morning, let's leave it at that....
Its got a bit of everything this place, music, games, good chat and a nice drink selection. Special mention to Jordan who asked me for I.D (I'm 46) after he clocked me opening Pokemon cards - thought he was being cheeky at first but it turns out he's as much of a big kid with it as I am.
10/10 on all fronts for the Hollow Tree. Exactly what pubs should be.

Three Brooks, Bradley Stoke District Centre, Bradley Stoke, Bradley Stoke District Centre, BristolAs a family of 7, we popped in yesterday on the way back from kids football. We all had really good meals, 3 mixed grils all cooked perfectly and of good quality, kids roast dinners were well received, the wife had fishermans catch which she said was lovely and the mother in law had the vegan roast dinner, again all good. If you want good quality pub grub in a friendly environment then don't hesitate to go here.

I was helped and greeted by a lovely Barista who was friendly and super efficient. Her lovely disposition made me decide to stay in and enjoy some cake too.
The place was clean and a good atmosphere.
Costa hold onto your barista Kate, as she’s got great customer service and efficiency down to a T.

Woodlands Ln, Bradley Stoke, BristolThe carvery was good, potatoes, vegetables and turkey were lovely, the lamb was a bit chewy/fatty and the Yorkshire puddings were a bit flat/stodgy. Our server Jackie provided excellent service whilst having to complete lots of other tasks and also helping other customers on a busy Sunday afternoon. Saffron Indian Restaurant & Takeaway
4-5, Woodlands Business Park, Woodlands, Bradley Stoke, BristolVisited the Saffron as a group of six. The service was great and the food was tasty. Whilst there was nothing about the restaurant that was a wow factor it was very nice and we came away having had a good meal and a fun evening. Will visit again if in the area.

U2, Willow brook centre, Bradley Stoke, TheI visited the store in Willowbrook, Bristol this morning - im a regualr customer and Ive never left a review before. I ate inside and saw people come in and the staff working. The staff were brilliant at going quickly but not looking flustered. Special mention for Nick who served me - he had full management over a long queue and made his way through it impressively. Lovely guy and team working today.

The Brooks Centre, Bradley Stoke Way Savages Wood Road, Unit TS4, BristolMy son & I went to KFC tonight. It was so busy & it was clear the staff were rushed off their feet. However, they were so kind, with one guy engaging in conversation with my son & making him laugh, yet still organising & sorting meals. Really impressed & highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: I wish I could remember the guy name, he was fantastic at keeping my son entertained. So kind & caring, understanding we were waiting.
