Reviews for The Chestnut Tree
We had a traditional pasty and a cheese & onion pasty. They were extremely tasty however somewhat overpriced we thought. It's also not the biggest of places so seating could be an issue we suspect. We were lucky as another party were just leaving. We gave an average score not for the food, but for the seating issue and cost.
Beautiful place; Outstanding service; delicious food and drinks (coffee/tea and pastries). Expensive: 2 persons coffee/tea with something tasty €18.Parking: Parking in front of the door is free for up to 2 hours.

My friend and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch. We were very pleased with The Chestnut Tree's menu and left very full and contented. I can recommend the jacket potatoes, but there's so much on the menu to choose from. Also, they have a bakery with fresh delicious cakes, pastries and pasties. Oh, not forgetting their ice-cream!
