Christmas dinner, on Christmas day, at the Beefeater was a pleasant surprise. First of all was the excellent service.At no point did we have to ask for anything. As my drink was nearly empty a waitress asked if I wanted another. All meals for 4 were delivered to the table within seconds of each other. My steak was tasty and cooked to my liking. Waitress was friendly, but didn't know how many prawns you get as a side order. I was going to share a portion with my brother in law. I'm so glad we ordered a portion each because there was just 2 prawns in each dish (also they were cold). I complained to the waitress and she discounted them from the bill. Nice meal christmas day but booked in at 2.30pm and sat down at 3pm service super slow after Kirsty went. Not very good when spending over £200 for 3 people on christmas day. Yes they might be busy but waiting over half an hour between courses is not exceptable. Not sure if i will return with my family unless decent staff who actully care instead of just standing around and not serving do there job. Sorry but i paid good money and service was ########
