The Forge Hammer and River Spice Indian
Forge Hammer Inn, Forge Row, LydbrookOrdered late afternoon on a Friday for an 8 o’clock pickup for 11 people, ready on time and v reasonable price, excellent Indian food, all v tasty and large portions. Also stopped at the bar for a pint of their locally brewed IPA which also really tasty. Overall an excellent pub with takeaway food.

The Wye Fry
The Wye Fry, Central Lydbrook, LydbrookCame in last Friday, ordered a classic fish and chips the young lady serving with a blue shirt was absolutely delightful. I had an abysmal day and just wanted a British classic to lift my mood i walked in ; almost instantly was served. The server was very efficient, however still found time to converse with me about my day and make me feel warm and welcomed. I got my food very quickly and apon exit was wished a lovely day by the same server. i went in for comfort in the shape of food however came out with a smile on my face and a new sense of humanity all thanks to the beautiful young lady who served me.
