We went there to meet some elderly relatives that were visiting the Forest of Dean. Firstly may I say how helpful they were, given that we had two 90 year olds, the lady serving couldn’t have been more helpful, saving a table for five in the window, and when we ordered, she was so polite and helpful. A lovely little coffee shop with a really charming feel. The coffee was lovely and the homemade carrot cake was incredible! My daughter enjoyed her hot chocolate as well! I highly recommend a visit here if you're looking for refreshment in Lydney.

The Daily Grind offers everything you could want in a local coffee shop. A great selection of bespoke food & beverages, beautiful decor, welcoming ambience & clearly a very passionate & friendly owner who made me feel at ease during my recent visit. Would highly recommend & look forward to returning to try some yummy autumnal waffles!
