“I have been going to this pub for years. It is a lovely place, whether you are going with friends and family for a meal or for a quick beer after work. It has a good beer garden that has plenty of seats for the summer. There is also a pool table and a dart board. The clothiers has a traditional pub feel, well worth a visit.Walkability: It is a 5min walk from Stroud town centreFood & drinks: The food is always very good with a nice variety at a reasonable price. There is a good range of drinks.”

“Hot chocolates are absolutely delicious! As a café in the day its nice and relaxing, but there aren't many options for food. If you're looking for a good quality café just for coffee, tea etc. Then I would recommend. There are choices of brownie or orange cake, but no sandwiches or other things. Feels a little limited, but service is prompt”

“We've been here twice for a Sunday roast and as far as the art of the roast goes, they've got everything right.Well prepared, good quality food, decent helpings of everything - you're full, and there's not much left over, nice Yorkshires and extra gravy you don't have to ask for.We had a vegetarian and a vegan with us and they were both catered for, but weren't big fans of the nut roast. However, they really liked the rest of it and will try another veggie option next time (yes, they have more than one veggie option with a roast!)Add a good selection of ale, beer and wine and quick service and you've got a great Sunday lunch - not everywhere can get this right but they have, and the puddings are lovely too.Unsurprisingly, you need to book in advance but it's worth it!Vegetarian options: Vegetarians and vegans catered for, even for a Sunday roast.Parking: Parking is round the back of the pub.”

“We popped in last night we were staying in the area. It’s a busy pub. We managed to get a seat and ordered the chicken supreme and gammon steak. Both of which were very tasty and excellent and was served with a smile. The pub had a good atmosphere. We would very much recommend it.”
