A superb lunch from their Christmas specials menu, delicious and well presented.The rabbit Ballantine was a great starter followed by the slow cooked brisket eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals .Some of us indulged with cocktails which were pronounced to be delicious . Will certainly be returning
An unexpected revelation , very friendly welcome from behind the bar and shown to our table with drinks following promptly . A short but we’ll thought out menu that looks after all diets . A hearty bean & sausage soup was packed with warming flavours and served with wonderfully warm fresh bread . A warm goats cheese & chargrilled med veg focaccia had top quality ingredients with an excellent salad . A constant in Stroud. Excellent, delicious food which the recent move to a new premises has not changed. Great service, fabulous service and the best cocktails in Stroud. Still the best.
