Just back from lunch at this fantastic venue. BLT Classic for me and Caesar Salad for my friend, both were superb and fantastic value. Dog friendly too the place had a buzz about it and the service was friendly and efficient. Far better than an overpriced lunch at the competing Gastro Pubs in the area where mains are 2 to 3 times the prices on offer at The Canteen.
It's a delightful little place. The shop is full of trinkets and lovely items to buy.We stopped for brunch and had coffee with the big brekkie, veggie brekkie and salmon bagel. It was delicious.The staff were lovely as well.I bought a cake to eat at home, and that was also very delicious. I would recommend stopping here!

Lovely little spot, really went out of their way to accommodate quite difficult dietary needs, chef even came out to the table to check certain items we could/couldn’t have. Couldn’t have asked for better service, food as good as always! :)
