A good place for a decent tea and coffee and very tasty light lunch. Friendly staff. Above the shop.Vegetarian options: Onion and cheese frittata with good salad of coleslaw and broccoli and red pepper. Toasted sarnies on excellent bread!

Went to hobbs house bakery in nailsworth. Had a Cornish Pasty and a millionaire shortbread. It was great. The corish pastry could tell made fresh that day all good quality ingredients chunks of meat with the diced veg. Was perfectly seasoned and warm too. Millionaire shortbread had a good ration of thirds with large chunk of caramel. Would have liked little bit large bit of chocolate on top but nevertheless very tasty. What I had was delicious. I don’t often visit Nailsworth but we were here on holiday and I was keen to visit what had always been one of my favourite bakeries. I came today for coffee and cake with my mother and having ordered two coffees and cake to eat in we were surprised that my mother was given her cake in a paper bag. I presumed maybe there had been a misunderstanding? We duly went upstairs to sit down at a table and we were surprised to be served our coffee in takeaway cups and not in crockery...read full review
