I've been to this costa multiple times and always feel a bad energy from the staff there. The first time I thought they were having a bad day but this is repeated behaviour. They aren't friendly or very kind and don't seem to have time for you. The food is hit or miss. Some things are delicious while others are atrocious. The cold drinks are very nice but their coffee is not as good as other chains. To sum the place up: average at best
Unfortunately one staff member wrongly said Costa do not accept dogs in there shops. No signs saying this. Website clearly states dogs welcome in all shops. Other Costa's stores also stated they'd never heard of a ban.

I often go in here before work, and like it, BUT it really could do with a makeover. Whilst the staff are friendly and the coffee is nice, the furniture is rather old and a bit smelly. Corporately Costa you need to pay attention!
