So I like to food at Chrystal Rivers in general and the staff are top knotch. Had booked a Christmas lunch for three I had an Asian meal and the other two had a traditional british Christmas dinner. My meal was good but the traditional Christmas meals were very sad looking with tiny portions including the thimble of gravy. The pudding was served cold with lumpy custard. I was tempted to try this restaurant by the excellent value midweek offer. I had popadom with pickles, starter, main course and mushroom rice for £16. The quality of the food was very good and the service was exceptional. There was also no sign of any service charge being applied despite this being referenced in other reviews. I would be happy to return here if in the area.

Visited this restaurant with wife and Brother who was visiting from Canada. Wife is not usually a lover of spicy food, but very helpful waiter advised her on what was to be a perfect dish for her. Brother and I had Jalfrazi with rice, and could not fault it. I LOVE my food but found the portions to be very generous, staff were very attentive, without being over bearing.
