Called in at lunchtime for the gluten free fish and chips. Delicious crispy batter and lovely thick cut chips. Great that I can take the dog in too. I visited this pub for lunch with my family on 28 November, 2023.The beautiful old yew tree in front of the pub sets the atmosphere for this stunning place. The ambience , decor (particularly the unusual wallpaper in the loos, which were spotless), caring and friendly service and superb food made this one of the best pub experiences I have ever had in the UK. We go to the Yew Tree regularly as our local pub and the food and service is always excellent. However this year I booked our Christmas party here. I always worry about a Christmas menus, but it was absolutely outstanding! The food was utterly delicious. The service and customer experience was also second to none. Thanks for a lovely evening
