We had a lovely roast dinner at the pub. The food was really well cooked and the landlord was able to say what was dairy / gluten free. You get a good plate of food for a very reasonable price. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming and we will definitely visit again soon. One of those rarities a genuine old English pub with separate bar and restaurant.Friendly atmosphere and you can hold a conversation.Small garden and play area in the summer and off road parking.Great pub

I essentially grew up in this pub in my teenage years and 20s and came back here to have a meal with my parents some 20 years later. The decor basically hasn't changed since the mid 90s at least, but the atmosphere in this pub has always been very cosy, welcoming and modest.
