The Regent
21 Chestnut Grove, LondonGreat pub, especially for watching sport. Loads of screens—sometimes showing different games at once—which makes it ideal for match days. The front is more of a restaurant, but head to the back for the real action. There’s a tiny beer garden out front, but don’t be fooled—the real garden out back is huge, leafy, and brilliant in the sun. Order via the QR code for speed and ease. Food’s decent, if a bit overpriced. Staff are lovely, and the crowd has that classic, friendly South West London energy. A solid spot for weekend pints and big games.

Special thanks to Annie the quiz master for a highly entertaining evening and the staff who were all super helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere, delicious food and an impressive selection of drinks. What more can we say?? A great night was had by all!!

178 Balham High Rd, LondonI’ve been here twice now, once with friends and once with a book. The ambience is good and I enjoyed my mint hot chocolate. The staff are friendly and efficient. The only part that is less than good are the prices, which feel steep. £5 for a small hot chocolate was a bit much in my opinion.
