…that our table of 5 shared. The highlight for me was the chicken and masala sauce towards the start but there were other highlights like prawns and eggs, not necessarily things I would normally order. Superb service and lovely setting too.
Unusual Indian food packed with spicy flavour. It’s a small menu compared to curry houses, and small & large sharing plates rather than starters and mains. Although they could probably bring them times as starters and mains, if you ask. We ordered the selection of chutneys too, which we didn’t need as everything came with a saucy or sticky bit. Had dinner at the Gunpowder in January 2024. This is not a traditional Indian restaurant but more like Indian tapas. The food was very tasty and the service fine. I would go back and/or recommend
