A good example of the Wagamama brand - great food, nice atmosphere and friendly service. My main grip - which is why 4/5 - why do all staff vanish when it’s time to pay? Took me an age to get the bill and what felt like forever to eventually pay while staff were all sitting in the ‘staff dining area’ chatting!
+ve: beautiful food, great waiter, prompt food service. -ve: maitre d’ refused to seat us despite there being space for over 20 people to sit. Massive long table was empty and being held for a ‘bigger group’ that hadn’t booked and didn’t appear. Another table for six (we were a group of three) was also available but not offered to us despite not being booked. It ended up being offered to a party of 2! I went with friends to a birthday dinner. We had a very good time, the food was delicious. We had the fortune of being guided by Andres, who was very patient and helped us to choosing according each particular taste. Thank you once again. We will come back the next time in London!
