The Courtyard, 151 Sydney St, LondonI loved the vibes of this place. The day was super nice when I went so the semi outdoor seating was very comfortable. There's also little flapping clear tarps on the side to block off the wind. The only thing is that my order was taken incorrectly so I received the wrong food, but Phat Phuc was super nice and fixed it immediately :3 very appreciated.
I've had the pho before at a previous visit (of which I will say it's not bad but it's not great, so given the price I would recommend skipping). I tried the charsiu rice instead and this was my first time trying the vietnamese version of charsiu. It was a lot of food. Very generous rice.
As for the laksa, it was very good and creamy. A good portion. I would recommend getting this.

Coopers Arms
87 Flood St, LondonI visited The Coopers Arms recently and had a really great experience. The place has such a good vibe — relaxed, friendly, and exactly what you want from a proper Chelsea pub.
I went for dinner and the food was excellent. Everything was fresh, well cooked, and really satisfying. It felt like proper quality pub food rather than something rushed. The atmosphere in the evening was especially good — busy enough to feel lively but still comfortable where you can actually enjoy your meal and conversation.
The staff were welcoming and the service was smooth throughout the evening, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend a few hours enjoying good food, drinks, and the atmosphere.
Overall, a great spot for dinner with really nice vibes. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Big Easy Restaurant - Kings Road, Chelsea
332-334 King's Rd, LondonI recently visited Big Easy on King’s Road in Chelsea and had a generally enjoyable experience, though there were a few areas that could be improved. The special of the day was the unlimited barbecue meats along with pulled pork, which initially sounded very appealing. The pulled pork itself was still flavourful and satisfying, but overall, the offering didn’t quite feel the same as it used to. There seems to have been a slight decline in quality compared to previous visits.
One of the highlights for me in the past has always been the cornbread. It used to be absolutely gorgeous—so much so that I would always ask for extra. Unfortunately, this time it didn’t live up to expectations and lacked the richness and texture I remember. The sausage and chicken were also a bit disappointing, as they were quite dry and seemed slightly overcooked.
The men in our group ordered the lobster and were quite surprised by how small it was, and it was also a bit dry, which was disappointing given the price point. On a more positive note, the chips were really good—nice and chunky—and the garlic sauce was delicious. Drinks were decent, nothing particularly standout but perfectly fine.
That said, I still really like the place. The ambience has a distinctive vintage charm, with a deliberately relaxed and slightly rustic feel—it’s not meant to be pristine or overly polished, and that adds to its character. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it’s clearly designed that way to create a cosy, lively atmosphere.
Service was alright—nothing exceptional, but efficient enough. It is somewhat on the pricier side, though not unreasonable for the location. Overall, I would still come back and I know I’ll visit again in the future, hoping the food returns to its former standard.

177 Brompton Rd, LondonWe stopped by after Winter Wonderland & it was busy, packed actually, however we managed to grab a seat upstairs and ordered via the app and the service was great, great food as per standard and fast friendly service when food delivered to table. Staff were proactive and kept cleaning as they went. It was super busy yet every table was sanitised & wiped down between change of customers. Floors were being mopped & yellow signs were put up and it was just an overall great look. WC was clean, stocked & tidy. I've been working in hospitality for over a decade and can really appreciate an efficient & friendly shift of team work and keeping the place looking good regardless of how busy & crazy it can get. Well done to everyone working at this busy branch. ?
