A long-standing establishment that was once a tea house, caught my attention due to its Chinese ownership hints on Google and its eclectic menu featuring udon alongside traditional breakfast items.
[To date, I have only dined in four Chinese run spoons in London].
The cafe which is in a converted house added to its charm with the dining area in a living room.
Overall, the food was how it was expected so it delivered.
The liver and bacon is the best in town!
Definitely will be returning because the owners are really friendly and happy to see you anytime.

We had the butter chicken and palak paneer with plain rice and a chili and garlic naan and were blown away by how delicious it was. All at a fair price.

136 Brighton Rd, CoulsdonI found this cafe earlier this year before the rebrand and it became my go to spot the portions were good, the food was nice and the employees lovely but now it seems that the food quantity has gotten smaller which is a big let down ! I compared the pictures from before and I was shocked don’t get me wrong the brekkie is still lovely but it’s just disappointing because I used to be full by the end and now I go home and have to eat more. I hope the team would take this into considerationI do have to say the new recruits aren’t as attentive as the usual girls they seem to be confused I assume they’re still trying to get used to the place, but I can see it becoming a problem during busier hours for both takeout and take in customersOur usual order is :Butchers breakfast 2 ?Tutti fruttiTropical fruitExperience 4/5 | Food 4/5 (due to smaller portion) | Service 3.8/5 (new recruits need to be more attentive

Service by Miles was very good, polite, efficient and friendly. The chef looked well presented and also served the food, which shows pride in what he does and always good to know who’s cooking your food! We had the wine and dine, every course was extremely good. Scallops, rib eye steak, chocolate bomb. They were all very well presented and well cooked, a touch of master chef feel. Three courses, £100 with wine - absolute bargain, plus minimal travel and time. Good to eat local

The cauliflower bhaji had lots of cauliflower (somewhere else recently gave us one floret in their dish and the rest was potato!) and the mushroom rice was good, too. The food was not oily either. Would totally recommend.

I was on a long ride and they made space for my bike so I could have my pit stop without taking all the gear of the panniers. Very thoughtful. Top notch all round!!

Their double cheese burger is amazing. And the customer service is second to none. I myself being a chef have tried many different food outlets for me for a little takeaway shop it definitely scores 10/10 for me and their milkshakes well they go down a treat aswell.. 100% lovely takeaway ?

We had:
Fresh bread with alioli, jamón serrano, olives, patatas bravas, Padrón peppers, chorizo in wine, garlic prawns, and a mozzarella, avocado & tomato salad.
For mains, we’ll had pork fillet with fries, lamb cutlets with vegetables and potatoes, chicken and beef skewers, and seafopd and chicken & chorizo paella rice.

The owner of the shop Eric and his wife they were very friendly and good people that I have never met. And the waitress is very friendly. My family members everyone liked the food. Especially the the traditional breakfast and burger meal, sausage, bacon, mushrooms everything is very fresh and very tasty. Finally they gave some special gifts to my baby.
