Chopstix - Croydon

Went to the opening of the Huddersfield store today. Very courteous staff, great portion sizes, lots of different flavours to choose from. Would highly recommend the egg fried rice base, with caramel or sweet and sour chicken

The Ludoquist - Board Game Cafe Bar

I visited cafe with my cousins and we totally loved it. We had fun time and enjoyed more than 6 games. Food was good and the staff was friendly. Totally recommend this place who likes to play board games.

Ponte Nuovo

I am one of three friends who love spending a lunch together at this fab restaurant. The food is delicious and plentiful. The staff, lady waitress (forgot to ask her name) and Nicholas were so friendly and attentive, without being over the top. The restaurant wasn't at all busy, but it was a Monday!

Mithras Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant

Mithras Restaurant is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had in Croydon. We came with a group of 15 for a company event and everything was flawless from start to finish.

The mixed grill platter was incredible, full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and more than enough to share. The baklava and tea at the end were the perfect finish to an already amazing meal.

What really stood out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

If you’re in Croydon, Mithras is an absolute must visit. Exceptional food, outstanding service, and a place you’ll definitely want to return to.

The Tree House

Excellent. Had a delicious Sunday roast. Service was excellent. The young lady was very tentative, went out of her way to provide a hot drink for us. Would highly recommend.

The food was fantastic, as was the warm welcome and the atmosphere. Bring your own drinks made this an incredibly good value meal If I lived nearby this would be a weekly visit

KFC New Addington - Central Parade

Quality was the priority and this kfc was perfect for delicious food and If you want to take food in a minute go and try ,100% accurate and freshness in the food was amazing and saving the people time which I can mention as their strength

Roosters Piri Piri Croydon

I love roosters and this is my first time to the Croydon restaurant...and it won't be my last!
The best Roosters I've been to. .. chicken thighs were delicious, juicy and tasty.
Although I only ordered 3 pieces the manager gave me an extra piece and threw on loads of fries...the fries were also really nice and crispy.

The Spread Eagle

Most amazing meal ever, the staff are so friendly and the food is incredible, being a vegan I find it’s hard to find places to eat or even an option on a menu but this place has everything! The quality of the food and prices are great, would love to be local as I would be here all the time! Definitely give this place a visit

The Cricketers

What a great pub. Dropped in with 2 old friends and we were made to feel very welcome by the landlord, Chin (hope I've spelt that right). Good range of tap beers on offer and the Jerk fries were delicious. Beer garden out the back was a nice sun trap as well. As we were leaving the quiz night was in full swing and the bar was crowded. We'll be back as only a short walk from East Croydon station.

Spread Eagle

Boss pub this! Scran’s sound, staff are dead friendly, and the place has a proper good buzz. It’s a Liverpool pub, so if you’re a United or Arsenal fan, expect a bit of stick – all part of the laugh. Sound prices an’ all.

Green Dragon Croydon

Hired upstairs for a function. From start to finish it was a great experience, process of booking was easy, and therefore was a great weight of my mind. I was tipped to only order food for 60%-75% of the people who would attend but in the end even this was a lot as it was plentiful! Definitely recommend if a room is needed to book for functions.

Tindli by Chef Karnavar

Had lunch with the family over the weekend. Excellent range of veg and non-veg options - Cauliflower 65, veg briyani, Chicken Malabar curry, and beef fry, butter chicken were excellent. Sooraj and Sumesh were on-point with their service. Thank you

Ayat Kitchen Lounge

First time @Ayat and loved it.
Good was great, flavour dishes prepared with care.
Interior looks great has it's own unique flair although music was to loud.
Service was a bit lacking.
We where seated promptly and our food came out in timely manner but the waitress didn't check on us at all (she was on her phone all the time we where there as we could see from our spot).
We need to get up and ask her for another round of drinks as she wasn't paying any attention to us at all.And then she got our simple order for drinks wrong, we where the only costumers there so no distractions and it was quite early an a lazy Sunday.
Hope that the service does improve as the food was delicious.
Will come back to give it another chance for sure.

Clocktower Cafe

Often come for ‘library lunch’ with our little one, and the grandparents. Friendly service. Options to please everyone and nice community feel. Nice seeing work of local artists on display.
It’s a simple cafe that does exactly what you would want and more in the middle of Croydon. It’s always paired with a visit to the children’s library and a run around at the Queens Gardens park

Mr Fox

I am honestly absolutely heart broken that this place is now open events only. This was my absolute favourite restaurant in Croydon (maybe my favourite anywhere!). The food was absolutely divine and the price more than fair for the quality of the food. Everything seemed so carefully put together. My partner and I have been having anniversary meals here for the past four years, and have been many times in between.

Don't get me wrong, the food at the Fern is also very good, but it is not the same experience as Mr Fox. The tapas style small plates just don't feel as cozy as a full meal at Mr Fox did. I have yet to try Trickle. I have every faith the food there will be good too, but it seems more drinks orientated and the menu a bit more limited (which is fine, just not my vibe).

I am going to miss the seasonal carefully curated meals and excellent times we had at Mr Fox. I only hope that it may reopen as a restaurant again some day!

I'm sorry to say that the food leaves alot to desire me and my wife both had brocoli and peas all seem very well done looked like mash brocoli the service we had to get to get our
deserts overall for the
price They can do much better . Ps and they where not busy.

Chat House Indian Restaurant

Originally ordered through Uber who cancelled without any notice, after speaking to the restaurant they resolved the issue quickly and were amazing. Wouldn’t hesitate to order again purely for how great the staff are!

Beautiful food.
But the service was a bit....odd.
The staff didn't seem to be paying attention to who served which table. We were asked 3 times in 15mins if we wanted to order a dessert and that was whilst we were still eating our mains!! Staff seemed a bit vacant of personality but we got their in the end. Food was decent but it felt very fast food chain than nice restaurant.

Never tried here before, serving was abit rushed and Money orientated at first, but after speaking to the cook I realised they work a lot, Just like me and was tired. Food was great, will definitely come back again. ?

This is a great place to meet up for a catch-up with friends - quite lively with a nice 'buzz' about the place, lots of food options, and right next to the station. I even once had the pleasure(?) of going to a bingo event here, complete with life-sized cut-out of Barry Keoghan - so you never know what you'll find!

Came for a takeaway last night and the lady who served me with the blonde hair and glasses is a asset to the company. She was very attentive and her customer service was superb. She went above and beyond and it rare nowadays to receive this type of customer service. Thank you because you made my day. Please reward her for her hard work. Ten star ratings.

Best chip shop and chinese takeout in the area, been going here for as long as i can remember and they've never let us down. Excellent food, chips are always cooked to perfection

Shout out for a member of staff - Gabriella was amazing and I am really impressed with her - I have crutches and when she noticed she tried to get us sat as soon as possible so I didn't have to stand around waiting for ages. I am super grateful to her. We also had a great meal with great service ?

Really lovely community vibe, lovely people and affordable - only removing one star because once a barman was a bit rude, and served my (diabetic!!) friend full sugar coke when she asked for diet - her levels spiked and we were told by a later member of staff that the diet had run out days ago.

Taste of Bengal

I took my family who was visiting from Denmark to dinner at Taste of Bengal last night. The food and atmosphere was lovely. I've given four stars because we were asked if we'd like poppadoms before placing our order. We asked for three which were brought with sauces but not told at any time that they were chargeable. I feel this is not very honest and customers deserve to know.

Cafe Dino

Me and my friend came into the cafe for breakfast, not expecting it to be any more than a greasy spoon. We were so pleasantly surprised to find such a gem. The place itself is big and modern and very clean. The staff were so polite and helpful and the food was yummy and very reasonably priced. I will be becoming a real regular here.

Abra Kebabra

This is my go to kebab shop. It’s more of a takeaway than a restaurant. Everything about it is perfect. The food is fresh and delicious, the portions generous and the prices are very fair. This is what customers want and that is why this kebab shop is always busy.

Chick'n Box

Another place for chicken rice £7.65 at Chick'n Box.
Pricier than other joints in the area probably owing to its location near the station but it was loaded with so much moist tender chicken breast pieces.
Protein lovers will love this.

Peri Pizza

I went with a friend and we shared the 15 inch vegetarian supreme pizza. The pizza was very good and i think they do their own base as it does not taste like the generic bases available. Great and friendly service, more like a restaurant than a takeaway. Highly recommended if your'e in Croydon.

Market Tavern Croydon

A proper Croydon locals boozer situated on the oldest market in England. Good for football, food and drinks deals. Had an amazing Chip Shop Platter which was better than most fish and chip shops!!!

Castella’s Fish and Chips

Absolutely love their chips. Every time I've been, they've been fresh, chunky and delicious. Very generous portions as well.

Nice place to sit in and eat with the family as well.

Ossies Fish & Chips

Just visiting family in the area who provided this for dinner when we asked for fish and chips. Fantastic! Large chips served with salt and vinegar upon request. The cod was very crispy on the outside and a thick, flakey, fleshy white on the inside.

The Fish House

The Fish House, another chippy.
It was cod but the texture was a bit different, not quite springy but moist and soft.
The vinegar there lacked its kick just like some chippies.
I am guessing it was renovated recently from the fine white paint droplets on the condiments etc.

Station Fish & Chips

Every time I order fish and chips anywhere other here I’m disappointed. This place never disappoints, really excellent fish and chips

Bakhan Restaurant Croydon

I remember Bakhan always giving my littlens free sweets when we were ordering food and waiting, they were and still are one of the best Kebab places in Croydon, I miss the place, the owners and the food. Easy 5/5 rating ??
