We had a delivery and it was very good. They don't do small chips, so watch out, but we enjoyed the medium chips. My wife had the fish dish and she enjoyed this very much, and I had a couple of sausages in batter. So a sausage supper for me. I am currently suffering from a major illness so I have found that my taste buds have changed a lot, but I did enjoy the food from the Fish House.
Have been going here for a number of years. The current owner took over a few years ago, great service and great food. Shame the restaurant can't be used for obvious reasons, but still a great takeaway or Deliveroo. Give it a go.

My experience differs from most of the other reviewers. First time trying here as Happy Dolphin was closed. The large cod was so thin I can't believe its actual fish. The batter is crispy & the fish cooked fresh but the oil is so old & thats all you can taste. The chips although are made from potatoes half of them are so thin & crispy, theyre inedible! Watery mushy peas completed a really average meal. £11 for fish & chips of this quality is criminal!
