Great place for lunch after a walk in the woods, we had a table in the courtyard and were served wondering food by friendly efficient staff. The cakes and ice cream looked amazing but we were too stuffed to try
After a wander in Coombe Woods, we arrived at the cafe at 11.30am for brunch (we have young kids so it was lunch for them). After a 10 minute wait in line to order and pay we sat and waited about 12 minutes for our food. Lots of tables had reserved signs on them but someone else in line said the reservations were all for 12.30pm so we could sit anywhere as we'd be finished by then. I think there are new owners. The food was great my only gripe was the cutlery arrived after our food so we couldn't get stuck in straight away. If we were meant to collect our own a reminder at the till would have been great. We've been coming here for years one of our favorites. Our parents have a memorial bench in the park which we visit regularly. We have many fond memories of meals and celebrations together.
