2 Riverside Walk, Kingston upon ThamesI went to Bill’s on my graduation day with my parents. I wasn’t well dressed for the dinner or anything but they made it so special. Staff checked all the time how we were, they served all the food hot and everything was delicious.
Lee was helpful, friendly, smiley, polite and offered a great customer service.
It’s the second time I go to this place and both times have been amazing.

There was a couple of men who were a bit cranky and were giving the waitress a hard time. Personally, I think they were complaining just so they could get their wine for free. The waitress and management team dealt with them responsible and respectfully so they didn’t disturb others. I was very impressed.

This week I popped in for a delicious wrap with Morrocan Beef Meatballs, which was delicious and a thick warming carrot and coriander soup, equally appreciated. The service was quick and friendly and I would certainly recommend this to future ladies and lads who lunch!

The Griffin Centre, 2 Market Pl, Kingston upon ThamesIt's my third time visiting this restaurant. Came with my mum for a treat, it was her first time and she loved it. Hands down the friendliest place to eat in Kingston. The staff are always so happy and genuinely make you feel so welcome. The brunch is to die for, cooked so nicely with great coffee. I wouldn't go anywhere else for brunch. Keep up the good work!

The service is spot on, you can’t ask more from the staff. They are polite, friendly, efficient and to be honest hats off to the management team for finding such people. We look forward to seeing the regular staff and they are partly why we love it there so much.
The food is delicious and is served beautifully. Portion sizes are great, in fact we often leave taking some away with us.
It is very hard to recommend a particular dish because having tried the majority of the menu, it’s all incredible! But… I regularly ask for the Lahmacun starter/hummus with lamb, Ali Nazik or Begendili Kuzu (for the main) if you love lamb. The mixed grill is also delicious.
The whole atmosphere (daytime or evening) is perfect. You can dress up or down and you’d fit in either way. Sometimes we go for casual lunches or dinners, other times we dress smart.
I couldn’t recommend it enough. Our favourite place to dine out.

I only regret not coming back here once more, as I only came to visit from another country as I don't reside in Kingston anymore. But next time I'm visiting family, this will be my to go pub for a lovely roast. Also the fact the pub is next to the river gives it a lovely ambience. Also, also! Years ago, when I lived in Kingston, a fight broke out, outside these premises down the river and someone injured my foot, the people working here back then, which would have been like 12 or 13 years ago during Kingston carnival, gave me some first aid while I waited for the ambulace, so thanks for that, even though I doubt the people working here now are the ones that worked there 13 odd years ago. But thank you The Ram pub for that haha ??

Gough House, 57 Eden St, Kingston upon ThamesWhile waiting for a bus in Kingston, I suddenly spotted a Wendy’s sign. In that moment, memories from 40 years ago in Seoul came rushing back.
Back then, I had my very first Wendy’s burger at the branch next to the Chosun Hotel. Fast food wasn’t as common as it is today, so that experience felt truly special.
I remember getting off at Euljiro-Ipgu Station, wandering through Lotte Department Store, and then heading over to Wendy’s with my friends whenever we got hungry. Just seeing that familiar red-haired character brings their faces vividly back to mind. It even makes me feel like hopping on a plane to Seoul right now.
The Wendy’s in Seoul is long gone, but seeing that sign again here in Kingston felt like meeting an old friend after many years. It’s amazing how a simple hamburger can travel through time, carrying memories with it, and bring them back so vividly.

1st floor, john lewis, Wood St, Kingston upon ThamesI rate 5 star for the service as all the staff are fantastic, 5 stars for the lovely cakes, but sadly, only a 1 star for the atmos/ambience because the new owners, I believe, decided to remove the beautiful piano that I used to adore playing there. Also it was linked to constant background piano notes, cleverly playing out of the piano while no one played it. That really was quite relaxing and unique whilst enjoying the food and cakes, and after my weekly office job , I would look forward to my visits there at the weekends to unwind and sometimes play.. A great hub and centrepiece has been ripped out of the heart of the cafe. It blended in very well and also was a fine backdrop against the old churchyard opposite through the tall windows. I just was preparing my Xmas carols repertoire and some more new lyrics when I visited there last Saturday, but my piano was gone!

The food was largely good...prawn coctail, venison pie, burger and sausages get a tick but the fish in the fish and chips was a day too old and smelly. We mentioned this to our waiter but there was no credit on the bill for our comment or an apology so sadly a x for that dish which was largely left on the plate. The price was around £30 per head including drinks and service which was very good value.\nNOTE\nOne person in our party has mobility issues and despite the pub having many stepped levels it has step free access from the street to one bar area which was excellent.\n\nWe will go again.

We had the fresh pasta with 6 hours cooked lamb ragu, it was delicious. The wine was great and the desserts were excellent. Really fresh, real Italian. The service was friendly, relaxed and informative, just right. It’s a Deli also, I’d love to come back for lunch and sample the meats and cheeses on show. I would definitely recommend L’assaggino Kingston, it made for a perfect evening. The atmosphere was relaxed and romantic.

We like the atmosphere and all the three of us were familiar with PizzaExpress, which we have used since long time ago. It was pleasant, the service was good and although we like Pizza we all agreed that the quality of the food at this chain, so quality and choice at the Rotunda is similar to all other restaurants of this chain. And the verdict that the quality and choice has gone down, more noticeable in the last 10 years. Quality of the pizzas, variety and choice all went down compared with before 2010. A deterioration we all agreed. PizzaExpress pizza used to be the best and have quite a wide choice of pizzas. Very limited today.

Has a variety of arcade games and activities in which you can play and lots of other things to enjoy such as the vibe, the atmosphere, food and a bar filled with drinks. Defo somewhere I have enjoyed going to since I was a child myself and now I love taking my own two little ones here and see their lovely faces light up. Also there is an Odeon above as well as other food options available.

First, Bentalls Shopping Centre, Wood St, Kingston upon ThamesTasty food, prepared really quickly, but the service is so slow.
I waited outside for over 5 minutes before finally catching someone’s eye to be seated. I was told to sit wherever I’d like, and wasn’t accompanied to my table. So there was no real point queuing outside. There had been an accident and spill, so I sidestepped that to get to my desired seat, but that was still marked as ‘wet floor’ when I left an hour later. I asked for a fork to eat my noodles, and was served a spoon some time later. When I corrected her, she then took a further 5 minutes hunting down a clean fork as there weren’t any in the cutlery trays by me, or by the entryway.

Sitting outside benches were close to each other. A bit on the cosy side.
Staff were attentive and polite.
As it was Sunday we found free parking on side roads nearby - 10min walk.

The staff are friendly and attentive, and the whole place has a really nice vibe whether you’re popping in for a drink or sitting down for a full meal.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for great pub food!

However, when we phoned to book for our next visit, there was no answer even though we tried half a dozen times over the afternoon and early evening. We saw a similar complaint on Facebook.

Historic Market, Kingston upon Thamesi can’t eat spicy food because i have a very sensitive stomach but when i said this, the lady was very understanding and recommended the lamb curry which was amazing, the meat was so tender, it wasn’t spicy, the flavours were perfect. i’d 100% recommend you to try the food there, i’ll definitely be going back for more!! :)

Kingston Riverside is one of my favourite places to unwind in Southwest London. Right by the River Thames, it’s got that perfect balance of lively atmosphere and scenic charm. Whether you’re popping down for a casual stroll, grabbing a coffee, or enjoying a meal by the water, there’s always something quite special about the vibe here.
The selection of restaurants and pubs along the riverside is solid — from cosy spots for a pint to more upscale dining. On a sunny day, the outdoor seating areas are buzzing, and the view of the river with the boats gently passing by is just brilliant.
It’s also great for walks or bike rides, especially with the Thames Path running through. And with the town centre just a short walk away, it’s incredibly convenient.
All in all, Kingston Riverside is a gem — perfect for a relaxed day out or just soaking up some riverside atmosphere.

When finding I was vegan she made sure everything was made just right paying meticulous detail to make sure I was well looked after. 2, Station Buildings, Fife Rd, London, Kingston upon ThamesTruly this place is incredible and we are very regular visitors.
The service is spot on, you can’t ask more from the staff. They are polite, friendly, efficient and to be honest hats off to the management team for finding such people. We look forward to seeing the regular staff and they are partly why we love it there so much.
The food is delicious and is served beautifully. Portion sizes are great, in fact we often leave taking some away with us.
It is very hard to recommend a particular dish because having tried the majority of the menu, it’s all incredible! But… I regularly ask for the Lahmacun starter/hummus with lamb, Ali Nazik or Begendili Kuzu (for the main) if you love lamb. The mixed grill is also delicious.
The whole atmosphere (daytime or evening) is perfect. You can dress up or down and you’d fit in either way. Sometimes we go for casual lunches or dinners, other times we dress smart.
I couldn’t recommend it enough. Our favourite place to dine out.

105 Clarence St, Kingston upon ThamesBeautiful, lots of variety to choose from considering there is many flavours to put on your chicken. Good and pretty quick service, only negatives is it is quite pricey which is annoying. Also, the milkshakes aren’t the greatest in my opinion.

The Ram
The Ram, 34 High St, Kingston upon ThamesHands down, best roast in Kingston and it's surrounding areas. Lovely service, good selection of beers, good atmosphere, but most importantly excellent roast. I only regret not coming back here once more, as I only came to visit from another country as I don't reside in Kingston anymore. But next time I'm visiting family, this will be my to go pub for a lovely roast. Also the fact the pub is next to the river gives it a lovely ambience. Also, also! Years ago, when I lived in Kingston, a fight broke out, outside these premises down the river and someone injured my foot, the people working here back then, which would have been like 12 or 13 years ago during Kingston carnival, gave me some first aid while I waited for the ambulace, so thanks for that, even though I doubt the people working here now are the ones that worked there 13 odd years ago. But thank you The Ram pub for that haha ??

31 Coombe Rd, Norbiton, Kingston upon ThamesDiscovered this small restaurant while waiting at the maternity yard from Kingston Hospital. In a few words, the food is great, the portion generous and the atmosphere is very friendly and helpful when you are not experience with Sri Lankan food.
Definitely recommended! Especially if you are stuck at the hospital!

Gough House, 57 Eden St, Kingston upon ThamesWhile waiting for a bus in Kingston, I suddenly spotted a Wendy’s sign. In that moment, memories from 40 years ago in Seoul came rushing back.
Back then, I had my very first Wendy’s burger at the branch next to the Chosun Hotel. Fast food wasn’t as common as it is today, so that experience felt truly special.
I remember getting off at Euljiro-Ipgu Station, wandering through Lotte Department Store, and then heading over to Wendy’s with my friends whenever we got hungry. Just seeing that familiar red-haired character brings their faces vividly back to mind. It even makes me feel like hopping on a plane to Seoul right now.
The Wendy’s in Seoul is long gone, but seeing that sign again here in Kingston felt like meeting an old friend after many years. It’s amazing how a simple hamburger can travel through time, carrying memories with it, and bring them back so vividly.

Very Good value, excellent service, then again we were at the time the only diners.
Give it a try, apparently the vegan rice dish with pistachios etc is very good.
