Only one night in London and we were hanging for a good Indian meal.. very glad we booked here. The place was well run, service was slick, but warm and friendly. Staff were smartly dressed, switched on, attentive but no one rushed us. It was a Sunday night and while we ate there early, by 7:30 the place was starting to fill up, so maybe booking was a good idea. Toilets were clean and tidy. My wife and I happened to be in the City on a Friday evening and on the spur of the moment decided to visit Brick Lane for a curry. We’d eaten in Bengal Village before, but not for a while. We certainly weren’t disappointed to be back, it was even better than before. The food was just as wonderful as we remembered. What a night! All the staff were brilliant, the food was exceptional and it's very very well priced. The meat platter starter cooked to perfect, vindaloo and phaal were perfect. 10/10 all day.
