We shared a couple of platters over lunch and everything tasted fresh, which is all I really could ask for! Nothing felt stodgy either. Makes a change from the usual pub food in the city so would definitely be back.
impeccable service, good wine advice with tasting offered before purchase, we had schnitzels that were perfectly cooked, relaxed atmosphere and nice surroundings. Very good value too. Will be back (again!)

Had chorizo sandwich and chips with glass of red (all delicious) service excellent and such a historic place in Fleet Street with original spectator cartoons on the wall. I make sure I go here at least once a year to enjoy the memories of past visits.
