Went here to grab a couple of beers and had a great time the bartender told me about his stories in the British army the rubgy game was on people were cheering have a good ol time just felt like everyone knew each other in there had a wonderful time and beers I never tried
The Sylvan Debate Club meets here every two weeks and has done so since 1868. Anyone who speaks a little English and is curious about this quintessentially London culture will be welcomed with open arms.

Came for the history, the pint, and fish and chips. This is a very chill place. Lively, but not as crowded as Ye Olde Mitre. Good number of locals and visitors to London. The Fish and Chips was great, and next time I want to try the Steak and Ale pie.
