As a Soho girl I’ve become a bit of an expert when it comes to cafe life. I write…think….sip… and reflect daily in my choice of cafe. I have a weak spot for Gail's bread so decided to grab one while in the area. The bakery is quite small and the number of tables is limited, but otherwise it offers the usual Gail's experience. I was suprised to hear that the bread can't be sliced in this store but managed to deal with it at home.

I went to Gails 3 times in 2 days after trying the Pistachio Cake. It was excellent. Absolutely delicious. We also had baked eggs, croissants and cinnamon buns. All were good but that cake will be forever in my dreams!
