We came in here for pints and food. We were told we would be seated at a table that required emptying and cleaning after a group of people were sat there. We stood and waited for ten minutes before giving up and managing to find a table elsewhere. We then ordered three steaks. Fifteen minutes after we were told they only had two so swapped one for fish and chips. The steaks were bland and chewy. I would not recommend coming here for food. Special thanks to Jo, who made our birthday celebratory lunch perfect! We had a coupe of requirements, which Jo reassured us were no bother and he made our afternoon just lovely. The food was delicious, portion sizes were great and everything was served hot and presented beautifully. Thank you to the amazing staff in the kitchen and to Jen. We will certainly go back and definitely recommend you visiting.

Good atmosphere , good value , food was decent for chain pub grub. Warm hospitality. The host pat was welcoming and attentive . Would go back again with friends. Recommend anyone passing through Chingford to check out.
